What is an eCourse?

The eduphoria!workshop application provides an online platform for the development, delivery, interaction, and tracking of professional learning opportunities in the form of a eCourse.  This site will guide you through the basic steps needed to register for an eCourse, navigating the online platform, and submitting for credit upon completion of all components of the eCourse.

Registering for an eCourseDivider

Registering for an eCourse in eduphoria is just like registering for any other standard course.  To access you eduphoria account go to https://waco.schoolobjects.com and login using your username and password provided by Waco ISD.  From the eduphoria home screen, access the Workshop application which can also be identified by the following icon.

Once you have accessed the Workshop application, make sure the "Workshop" tab is selected on the left-hand side of the screen, then select the eCourses icon under the "View Courses by Category" section of the main window (See Image Below).

Now select the eCourse from the list of options that you are wanting to register for (See Image Below).

Finally, select the "Register" option at the top of the window (See Image Below).

You have now successfully registered for the eCourse and are ready to begin navigating the contents of the course.

Navigating the eCourse Online PlatformDivider

To access the content of an eCourse, select the "My Portfolio" option and find the eCourse in your course listing.  An eCourse is denoted by a globe icon, which is different than you standard course (See Image Below).

Once you have selected the eCourse, the main navigation tabs are listed across the top of the main window.  These are "Course Overview", "Course Content", "Instructor Notes", and "Discussion"(See Image Below).

To view the contents of the course and complete the required activites for credit, you must select the "Course Content" tab (See Image Below).

To view the course content, click the "View" option on the right-hand side of the main window (See Image Below).

The chapters/assignments will be listed in the left-hand column of the main window, and the content of each chapter will be shown in the main window (See Image Below).

‚ÄčNote: If you are unable to view content, check to make sure that the pop-up blocker has been allowed an exception to this page.  All content viewed in an eduphoria eCourse is generated in pop-up windows.

Requesting Credit for an eCourseDivider

Once all components of the eCourse have been completed under the "Course Content" tab, as identified by green checkmarks on the content chapter icons, you now have the option to "Request Credit" in the left-hand corner of the main window (See Image Below).

If the course requires the completion of a survey to receive credit, complete all sections of the survey and selection the "Submit Survey" option in the bottom left-hand of the main window (See Image Below).

Once the credit request has been approved by the Course Instructor, you will see the credit granted in your workshop portfolio.
