Workshop Credit Request

Requesting Credit for Out-of-District TrainingDivider

When attending workshops or conferences hosted outside of Waco ISD, it is possible to track your course credit inside your eduphoria workshop portfolio.  To receive credit in eduphoria, you must submit a credit request with an attached certificate of completion.  You can follow the instructions provided in the video below, or use the instructions and screenshots that follow (See Below).



Prior to beginning your request for credit, make sure that you have the certificate of completion/attendance for the outside workshop/conference or you college transcripts if requesting CPE hours for college coursework.

To begin the credit request process, access your eduphoria account at https://waco.schoolobjects.com and login using your username and password provided by Waco ISD.  From the eduphoria home screen, access the Workshop application.  Make sure that you are are the "Workshop" tab then select the "My Portfolio" option on the left-hand side of the screen (See Image Below).

At the bottom, left-hand side of the screen under Portfolio Options, select the "Add New Portfolio Entry" option (See Image Below).

The "Add New Portfolio Entry" allows you to request Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit for outside workshops, conferences, or even college courses.  Follow the steps in the New Portfolio Entry Wizard to complete the credit request. To navigate through the wizard after each step, select the "Next>"​ option at the bottom, right-hand side of the screen (See Image Below).

Enter the information for the workshop or conference attended, including the "Title:", "Start Date:" and "End Date:".  The "Description:" for the event is optional.  Once all the information has been entered, select the "Next>"  option at the bottom, right-hand side of the screen (See Image Below).

Now enter the "Credit Types" for the course as designated on the Certificate of Completion/Attendance and select the "Next>" option at the bottom, right-hand side of the screen (See Image Below).

Attach your Certificate of Completion/Attendance to the credit request by selecting the "Choose File" option on the Upload Applications screen.  You can upload up to 3 separate files to a single credit request.  When you have finished uploading your file/s, select the "Finish" option at the bottom, right-hand side of the screen (See Image Below).

Now review the information on the screen for accuracy.  Once you have verified that all the information provided is accurate and you have attached the Certificate of Completion/Attendance, you can now select the "Submit for Approval"​ option at the top of the screen (See Image Below).

The Credit Request is now pending approval from the Office of Professional Development.  If the Credit Request is received with all required documentation, you will receive an approval notice via email once the request has been approved and you will also see the course credit in your portfolio.  If additional information is required prior to approval, you will receive notice the your credit request has been denied that outlines the additional information required for approval.
